The genesis of Elefo happened in April 2014 and was incorporated in the same year in September. Shortly, DRDO became our technology partner and the TOT (Transfer of Technology) happened in Feb 2015. Commencement of the manufacturing unit, was the next step-which happened in Dec,2015 and within a short time with due diligence, we got the batch Certification from DRDO and the plant became functional around mid of 2016 We signed our first major assignment in Aug,2016, and that was with Indian Railways and it is appropriate to mention here as on date, we are one of the largest supplier of Anaerobic Microbial Inoculum (AMI) bacteria to Indian Railways. We are today an ISO 9001:2015 certified organization
Our Mission
Elefo Biotech has been established with a mission to cater the needs of Society’s depleting water scenario and provide an environment friendly solution to sanitation problems. Water is one of the most precious gift that nature has given us however its extensive use and non-replenishment of the same is becoming a cause of huge concern. If we continue to use water in the present form, very soon –we are going to reach a catastrophic situation. Elefo firmly believes that most of the water that is used, can be treated, recycled and reused. With this conviction in mind, we have launched the mission of treating water and making it ready for reuse wherever applicable….wherever possible and bring about a positive impact in the health and sanitation system of the country..

Has handled various portfolios in his corporate journey which includes structured finance, Joint ventures, Project planning and financial control. An astute professional with wide experience in all aspects of business formation, sales and management. Has worked with companies like Hero Group, GMR and Lanco. An eager learner, visionary entrepreneur with in-depth technical background and business analytics.”

Mr. Guruprasad Shenoy, heading the Finance Department is a Cost Accountant and a Law graduate. A seasoned Finance professional with over 30 year experience in both public and private sectors, he has worked in various capacities in different segments in Canara Bank for 20 years and had associated with Lanco group for almost 10 years.

Mou is an operations person with over 19 years of experience in the industry. She has managed huge client base both in sales and execution. Mou has managed a team of over 400 professional in the past. She is responsible for setting up sales network of the company and has helped take the company to different corners of the country.
